2013 Student Achievement Month – Local Contest Winners

For the past ten years, Communities In Schools of Georgia has held an annual Student Achievement Month contest. Designed to recognize Georgia students who are sometimes overlooked and often expected to underachieve, this year there were more than 200 entries from elementary, middle and high school students who receive Communities In Schools services.

Bleckley County students competed at the local level in the categories of computer technology and creative expression on February 7, 2013. First and second place winners were honored for their achievement and will move forward to the regional competition in March. Winners at the regional level will move on to the state competition.
